When something doesn’t exist in the world and you feel it’s needed more than ever, sometimes you just have to be bold and step in to make it happen and to see where it takes you.

No Assumption (NOA) was founded by Kate Daniels, PSHE Education consultant and myself in 2021 with a mission to provide an online community for young adults to find empowerment, independence, connection and support with each other.

This initiative first took shape during the covid lockdown, involving a group of young adults from around the UK on Microsoft Teams. They helped create our launch video, recording themselves on their phones. Everything we created was done on a next to zero budget, using the best of Instagram, Youtube, Canva, Adobe and a lot of our free time to create all our social media posts.

We’ve taken a pause on this project, but hope to renew our determination in the very near future.
